A highly accomplished orthopedic surgeon, she holds prestigious fellowships from leading institutions: Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery from Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston; Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgery from the University of Pennsylvania, PA; and Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Oncology from Emory University, Atlanta. Her 5-year service in the Indian Army as an orthopedic surgeon earned her the Special Service Medal, highlighting her dedication and skill.With over 9 years of teaching experience, Dr. Bharathi currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, NM, guiding orthopedic residents and medical students. Her humanitarian work includes leading orthopedic teams with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in conflict zones, and she founded an orthopedic trauma center in Pune, India, for the Government of Maharashtra. She also established Kalyani Orthopaedics LLC in an underserved region of Las Cruces, NM, demonstrating her commitment to accessible care.
